Century Shipyard is composed of highly skilled individuals dedicated to provide its customers with the highest level of quality service.

In 2015, Century Shipyard was founded by Captain Shawkat Iqbal with over 36 years of experience in maritime sector from ship management to shipbuilding.

After graduating in Maritime Studies from Cork Institute of Technology, Ireland, he joined P&O and worked at various challenging positions within the company for next 20 years till 2013 before entering business arena.
In 2006 while with P&O he had the opportunity to work with P&O new building team stationed at world renowned IHI Shipyard in Kure, Japan, building 8 post Panamax container ships.

Century Shipyard is built, on one of the powerful combinations of shipbuilding, ship repair and fabrication expertise in Bangladesh.

Since inception, the company had served exceptionally to several clients, has the technical expertise, qualified workforce and facilities to service your marine vessel requirements. From ship design and ship building to fast efficient ship repair, installation and general refurbishment.
